Each message/photo/classified/event/live location/video and audio call is end-to-end encrypted using 128bits security in compliance with NIST SP800-56 rev3 AES128, HMAC256, ECDSA & ECDH P-256). This means, only the intended receiver can read the message/photo/classified/live location/video and audio call.

Hence, Circles servers are routing encrypted packets to users, and storing encrypted data that the Circles servers can't decrypt thanks to the end-to-end encryption.
